This drive's input voltage can be within the range of 200 - 460 volts AC with 3 phases and has a 50 and 60 Hz frequency, as well as a control voltage of 100 - 240 volts AC (5 - 480 A units). The maximum continuous output current of this Allen-Bradley product is 317 amperes with an output power of 250 Hp (horsepower) at a 460 volt AC (alternating current) rated voltage. This unit can run the AC induction motors using many control methods, such as soft start and stop, smart motor braking, slow speed with braking, and pump stop, among many other methods at one's disposal. Also, some standard features are energy saver mode, when the drive is lightly loaded and auto adjusting feature. The drive has control input and output channels fully programmable. The drive has 2 DPI ports, one for HMI and one for programming purposes. Drive fault diagnostics and drive status can be followed by LEDs and integrated LCD display and list of faults is a long one. The faults that make up this list are such as power loss, excessive starts/hour, undervoltage, overvoltage, open gate, and communication fault, among a wide array of other ones. The 150-317NBD has fully programmable control terminals which can be assigned for normal, up-to-speed, fault, alarm, network and is also capable of displaying current, volts, and other measurable quantities, power factor, and motor thermal capacity usage. This unit is adjusted for heavy duty industrial applications and open mounted. The normal operating temperature should remain within a range of 0 to 50 °C.
