The 194R-LNC32, which was designed and produced by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, is a disconnect switch accessory that is a terminal shield. It is designed to be used with switches that have fuse within their enclosure and are standardized with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). They are also meant to be used with switches that have been tested and standardized by the Underwriter Laboratories (UL) whose current rating is four hundred (400) amperes. The switch type is fused. For each disconnect switch, two (2) 194R-LNC32 terminal shield are required for mounting. The terminal shield should be mounted on the line side or the load side. It has three (3) poles.
The terminal shield operates under the same temperatures as the disconnect switch, therefore during operation, the structure can be subjected to maximum temperature of up to 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit), whereas the minimum temperature that the system can be subjected to is negative (-) 20 degrees Celsius, (-4 degrees Fahrenheit). When the disconnect switch is not at work, then the terminal shield can withstand temperature of up to a maximum of 65 degrees Celsius (149 degrees Fahrenheit), whereas the minimum temperature that the shield can be exposed to while non-operational is negative (-) 40 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit). This device has physical dimensions that measure 15.35 inches x 10.19 inches to 12.79 inches (height x width).
