It is recommended to use 100M and 700M contactors with this module.

The 195-MA40 is an auxiliary contact adder deck manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This unit features 4 contacts that are normally open (NO). It has a rated impulse withstand voltage of up to 6 kilovolts (kV). This unit is a series A model and comes in a white colored enclosure. The voltage rating is 500 volts with a maximum input current rating of 10 amperes. This unit accepts a single-phase power supply. It is able to connect with wires that have a maximum gage of 14 American Wire Gauge (AWG). The wires used with this module can be made from solid copper or stranded copper. The use of aluminum cables is not supported by the manufacturer. Supported contactors for this contact adder deck are from the 100M and 700M series offered by Allen-Bradley. The module is designed to be used with a control relay. As this component forms part of the safety circuit in industrial devices, power needs to be disconnected from the system entirely before this module can be installed or have maintenance performed on it. The voltages handled by this module are high enough to be hazardous. Therefore, care needs to be taken while operating this module. Power sources should be physically disconnected to prevent contact arcs, as well as accidental energizing of the equipment. This module is built to meet CE and CSA standards and is UL listed. It was discontinued by the manufacturer in 2008. The module’s enclosure has dimensions of 1.75 inches x 1.25 inches x 1.00 inches. The Allen-Bradley device has an approximate weight of 35 grams.
