The 42SRP-6022 is a fixed focus diffuse photoelectric sensor as part of the PHOTOSWITCH series 6000 product line. This device was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley. A photoelectric sensor is a device that is used to measure the distance, presence, and absence of an object by using a light transmitter. This photoelectric sensor has an output voltage supply of 10 volts to 30 volts with a DC supply and an output current of 35 milliamperes. The maximum sensing distance at 1x margin of this sensor is 27.1 mm to 28 mm to white paper with a light energized output. The DC output being NPN and PNP is light energized. The capacity of this sensor is 200 milliamperes with response time of 1 millisecond. The maximum leakage current is 1 µA. The connection type is a three-meter-long cable. The light emitted from this photoelectric sensor is an infrared 880 nm or visible red 650 nm. The housing material for the sensor is Noryl, while the lens material is acrylic.
