Product number 440L-R4A3400YD is a Type 4 safety light curtain. This product was designed and manufactured by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. On top of the 440L-R4A3400YD light curtain, users will find M12 connectors. Using these connectors, users can connect as many as three (3) GuardShield safety light curtains. For smooth operation, this curtain must be supplied with 24 (±20%) volts of direct current (DC). It can withstand a maximum residual ripple of 0.05 Vss. The power consumption rating for this light curtain is 0.4 amperes maximum with no load. The minimum output voltage of this device is 2 volts. For integration with Integrated Laser Alignment, this curtain supports both floating and fixed blanking. Thanks to the integrated visible laser alignment, installing and aligning the 440L-R4A3400YD is relatively easy. 

When operating on 30 mm resolution, the Allen Bradley 440L-R4A3400YD supports one-beam floating blanking. Additionally, when operating on 14 mm resolution, this curtain supports two-beam floating blanking. This light curtain comes with an IP65 rated key switch box. Thanks to the end-cap brackets, mounting this unit is very easy. It should be placed inside an IP65 rated enclosure. The relative humidity rating for this unit is 15 percent to 95 percent with no condensation. When operating this safety light curtain, the temperature of the area surrounding it should range from -10 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius. This product can withstand a vibration with a frequency range of 10 to 55 hertz and an amplitude at 0.35 millimeters, or the equivalent of 0.01 inches. Additionally, this safety light curtain can withstand a shock with an acceleration rated at 10 G for a pulse duration of 16 milliseconds at a frequency range of 10 to 55 hertz.
