The EEFC is a solid-state overload relay module by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The overload is used for intelligent tripping, current adjustments, and keeping the motor safe. The module has a manual and automatic reset button. This product is NEMA size 0 and is mountable on size 2 and 3 NEMA contactors. The selectable trip classes are 10, 15, 20, and 30. The overload can adjust current from 9 to 45 amperes.

The 592-EEFC is an E1 Plus solid-state overload relay from the 592 series. Its overload type includes selectable trip classes of 10, 15, 20, 30 and is also selectable in auto and manual reset features. It can be mounted on NEMA contractors (0,1, and 2) sizes. Its current overload adjustment ranges from 9 to 45 amperes (for three-phase operation). This relay module can be mounted to NEMA contractors. Also, it contains various approvals and certifications such as IEC, IEC, CSA, UL, and cULus that are meant to validate devices for protection, safety, and performance. The main function of this overload relay module is to offer trip classes that are selectable from the 15 to 30 range. In addition, this relay also contains trip-free construction and enables easy selection of current ratings by enabling users to choose an appropriate heater element. Moreover, it comes with both the manual and automatic reset button functionality and is also available in NEMA configurations. Besides that, it also provides a clear way to observe optical indicators for visible trip indications. In a nutshell, this relay offers an excellent motor protection feature. It keeps the connected devices from short-circuiting by either warning the operators through its smart trip indications or even shutting down the power supply to avoid severe damage. Hence, the applicability of the overload relays for the motor loads and control technology is an important feature for automation. However, users should always remain cautious and avoid contaminants to damage the modules while also following the guidelines set by the makers.
