The 609-AAW is a manual type starting switch with a push-button operator type that is designed for outdoor use. When operating at a fifty (50)-hertz frequency, the control voltages of this device range from three hundred and eighty (380) to four hundred and fifteen (415) volts AC, and when operating at sixty (60) hertz, it ranges from two hundred (200) to five hundred and seventy-five (575) volts AC. Having an enclosure rating of one (1), this switching device comprises a door screw fastener, an external reset function, painted metal, and an enclosure of type 1 for a general specific application with a type 1 general purpose. The NEMA size of the device is also 0. The 609-AAW manual starting switch complies with CE, CSA, CUL, and KC requirements. The physical dimensions of this starter switching device measure 231 millimeters by 371 millimeters by 104 millimeters (height x width x depth).
