The Allen-Bradley 6176M-17PT is an industrial standard monitor. It has a 17-inch (432 millimeters) color TFT (thin-film transistor) display with a native mode of 1280 x 1024. The monitor has a bezel composed of aluminum and a touch-input system. Its power requirement is 90 to 264 VAC with a frequency of 47 to 63 hertz. The monitor may also be powered by a DC source, although an extra power adapter is required.

The 6176M-17PT is a 1750M standard monitor by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a feasible monitoring option for less demanding environments. With the help of mounting clips, this panel can be fitted directly into a panel. The monitor has a color-active matrix TFT LCD display. This display is 17 inches diagonally and measures 13.3 inches by 10.7 inches, in width by height. The display provides video of 1280 x 1024 of resolution with a standard contrast ratio of 800:1. This monitor also features an HD-15 VGA (video graphic array) connector for the analog video source, DVI (digital visual interface) for the digital video source, serial and USB ports for the touchscreen interface, two USB device ports (Type 2) for linking peripheral devices and an AC adapter. A high-resolution touch input mechanism is provided via the touchscreen. There are buttons on the back of the monitor for screen display (OSD) settings. The OSD menu provides the following controls: signal selection, brightness and contrast, color balance, image lock, and position (vertical plus horizontal).
A single-phase AC source can be attached to the AC adapter via an AC power cord. Its voltage should range from 90 volts to 264 volts, with a frequency of 47 to 63 hertz. A 12 VDC power source can be connected to an AC adapter using an external power connector. It draws 36 watts of power.
