The 6181P-2PXP is an industrial computer manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is part of the 6181P series of computers that are backed by industrial standard computing power. This unit is a performance model featuring an Intel Core Duo U2500 processor operating at a clock speed of 1.2 Gigahertz. The processor features a 2 Megabyte Level 2 cache, and the system has 3 Gigabytes of Dual channel DDR2 RAM pre-installed. The computer has 2 DIMM slots, allowing the user to upgrade the RAM up to 4 Gigabytes. The computer features two CompactFlash Type II slots, one of which can be used to boot the computer and one of which is hot-swappable. The computer has a 2.5-inch SATA rotating Hard Disk Drive featuring more than 100 Gigabytes of data storage capacity. This model includes a built-in slim DVD-RW drive. Two PCI expansion slots are also provided for adding accessories. The computer is equipped with one PS/2 mouse and keyboard port each along with a parallel and a DVI-I port. 2 serial COM ports are provided along with an audio line in and line out panel with microphone. The computer features 4 USB ports in the rear and one in the front panel. 2 Gigabit LAN ports are also provided for connectivity. The computer accepts an AC power input with the voltage range of 100 to 240 Volts AC. The power consumption is rated at 110 Volt Amperes. The computer weighs approximately 7.7 kilograms (17.0 pounds) and has dimensions of 251 x 353 x 108 millimeters (9.88 x 13.90 x 4.25 inches).
