The Allen-Bradley 700DC-P800Z1 NEMA control relay module from the 700 DC control relay series. This product has been assembled by Rockwell Automation. This relay is used to protect the motor in the automation industry. For example, it can provide intelligent temperature controls such as dealing with the overcurrent, overvoltage trips, or sometimes it can also disable the power supply of its connected motor to keep it safe, especially in the case of any severe malfunction. It has 8 N.O contacts and 10 amperes AC contact ratings. The power supply range of this module is 115 to 125 VDC, and this unit is an open-style enclosure since it does not contain any significant enclosure rating. However, this NEMA control relay is engineered to integrate with heavy-duty industrial motors. Aside from that, the control relay module has eight power poles used for the configuration, and it is a DIN rail mountable unit. Additionally, this module is also excellent for short circuitry control and management if provided with proper power ranges and circuitry. As far as the configuration and operation of this control relay module are concerned, the users should always prevent electrical shock by disconnecting the module from the power source before installing or servicing. In addition, installing this unit to a suitable enclosure is also made compulsory by the makers of this module. Also, users should keep it from contaminants such as liquids, harmful gases, and foreign entities. It is worth noting that this item is currently discontinued by the manufacturer, but it can be used as a substitute to the previous models for the same application.
