The 802R-AF limit switch is single contact sealed in glass envelope which provides high reliability in case of an environment with contaminants. The programmable controller is compatible at 24 volts and above, and has a 0.5 inch NPT conduit connection. It is UL listed and CSA certified. The switch is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D and Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G. It has a NEMA 13 rated enclosure and an ambient temperature range of -29 to 121 degrees Celsius (-20 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit). The AC contact rating has NEMA designation B600 and for DC contact rating the NEMA rating is P300 with voltage ranges of 115 to 125 Volts with a current of 1.1 Amperes and for 230 to 250 Volts with a current 0.55 Amperes. It has a maximum voltage range for AC contact of 120 to 600 Volts and amperage for make and break varies from 30 to 6 Amperes and 3 to 0.6 Amperes, respectively. The lever on rotary switch can be adjusted to any position in the 360 degrees around the shaft. The conduit entering the switch needs to be positioned such that fluid inside the conduit does not drain into the switch enclosure. The actuators lever can move clockwise or counter-clockwise and has a torque requirement for operation of 0.34 N-m (3 lb.-in). It has a maximum travel angle of 42 degrees and the travel to operate contact required angle is 16 degrees maximum; travel to reset contact is 9 degrees maximum. The contacts are normally closed type. The switch is PLC compatible.
