Part number 836T-T255J is a device known as pressure control and it was designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This device belongs to the Bulletin 836 series of products and is used to detect and control pressure by opening and closing circuits in both pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The 836T-T255J has an actuator that is safe to use in air, water, oil, and other liquids, as well as gases that are non-corrosive in nature. Some applications include the detection of over-pressure gases and liquids to prevent equipment damage and also detecting low pressure to prevent the loss of lubricants and coolants. The 836T-T255J pressure control has a single copper alloy bellow operation in a T-style. The pipe connections have a female 1/4-inch NPT (National Pipe Tapered) thread. The SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch two-circuit contact block is also present in this pressure control unit. This unit has a 40 to 450 psi adjustable operating range and a 20 to 90 psi adjustable differential range. These adjustable differential values are estimated mid-range values. In this unit, a maximum line pressure of 900 psi can be controlled, while the occasional surge pressure can reach up to a maximum of 1200 psi. The design of this pressure control helps reduce the installation time. According to the factory settings, the differential is set as the minimum value and the operating range is set as the maximum value. The approximate shipping weight of Type 4 and 13 bellows is 3.5 pounds, or 1.6 kilograms.
