855T-B10TA1 by Allen-Bradley is a control tower sound module that belongs to the 855T stack lights series. The basic purpose of the 855T series is to indicate the application status. These modules have a voltage rating of 120 volts AC and a current rating of 60 mA at 110 volts AC. All these specifications are clearly mentioned and labeled on the top of the device so that they are easily readable. These modules are very important as they alert the surrounding regarding system needs in an industrial setting. This is a sound only module that has 2 circuits and can accommodate various dual tone combinations. These modules are sturdy and can withstand rough industrial environments. They are made from polycarbonate (94V-0) material which gives it strength and durability. The operating frequency for this module is 5 to 60 Hz. Its lifespan is 20,000 hours. One of the important features of this module is that it comes up with a potentiometer as a built-in feature. Using this, volume and tone speed can easily be adjusted according to the application need. Moreover, the frequency can also be assigned using the same method. This module meets all the required standards and is used globally. It has IP53/NEMA Type 1 ingress protection. For proper and accurate results it is to be operated at a temperature of -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. All installation guidelines given by the manufacturer should be followed during the installation process. Failure to do so will affect the device's performance.
