The 873M-D18PO300-D4 proximity sensor is a Bulletin 873M multipurpose component. This module has an 18 mm diameter and is cylindrical. It contains bright LEDs (light emitting diodes) that show the output status. This sensing device has a maximum functioning distance of 300 mm. Nickel-plated brass is used to make the enclosure. The connection medium for this ultrasonic proximity sensor is detached connection micro M12, and it is also female style, straight, 4-pin, PVC form material that is painted yellow and is unshielded. It also features the same Micro QD (DC), TC connection and termination as well. This sensing device complies with C-TICK and CCC standards.

For both discrete and analog models, its window teaching enables sensing range to be configured inside a user-taught sensing region. Superior background suppression is possible for the user. This 873M product line has faster switching rates than other ultrasonic sensors in the portfolio and an IP67 grade for use in severe environments. This series includes a discrete output for on/off activities as well as analog outputs for distance feedback. The user can check power and output from any direction, decreasing the amount of time necessary for installation and troubleshooting. It is also possible to teach the sensor utilizing a simple four-step remote to teach the procedure using an extra programming cable. In addition to being good for normal packing and assembly applications, these sensors are also effective for detecting a wide range of targets that may be difficult for photoelectric sensors to detect, such as transparent, glossy, or non-reflective items.
