The 100-C30EJ00 is designed to control the motor systems in an industrial process. The device is a product from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automations and is a part of the Bulletin IEC 100-C series. The 100-C30EJ00 has a maximum AC-3 current rating of 30 amperes, with a 65-ampere AC-1 current rating. The contactor coil is rated at 24 volts and is placed on the line side of the contactor. The 100-C30EJ00 supports a power rating of 2 hp at 115 VAC, single-phase, and 5 hp at 230 VAC, single-phase. This device comes with three pole contactors, but it does not feature normally open or normally closed contacts. The contact terminals in the 100-C30EJ00 can be adjusted since they are screw-type terminals and can be accessed from up-front. The manufacturer does not recommend installing the product in a high-temperature area since the recommended temperature rating of this contactor is a maximum of 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
