The 100-C60DJ10 is a powerful contactor in the Bulletin 100-C series of contactors. This device was manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This contactor is a great option for controlling motor systems that require a high power supply. The main purpose of a contactor is to provide a system with the option of switching, and in this case, an inductive load such as a motor. The contactor can handle a load with a current rating of 60 amperes and can support a power rating of 5 horsepower at 115 volts AC, single-phase or 10 horsepower at 230 volts AC, single phase. The three-phase rating doesn't apply to contactors with less than 3 auxiliary contacts. The contactor features 3 poles with one (1) normally open configured auxiliary contact. The contactors are sided mounted with screw-type terminals and are supposed to be mounted in a horizontal orientation. 

The device has an open-type enclosure. However, it comes with an IP-2X rating to prevent users from accessing hazardous parts of the device. The manufacturer recommends operating the device in an area with an ambient temperature of fewer than 40 degrees Celsius to prevent overheating. The 100-C60DJ10 contactor is not a compact device as it measures approximately 117 x 72 x 122 mm (height x width x depth). A panel box is always recommended when installing this contactor on a 35 millimeter DIN rail in a horizontal mounting position. The contactor is manufactured using green materials to help keep the environment green and clean. This Allen-Bradley product is CSA, UL, and IEC certified.
