This contactor offers the highest specifications in the Bulletin 100-C series of contactors. The power rating offered by this contactor is 25 Hp at 230 volts AC single-phase. This device has an open-type enclosure with an IP2X rated protection.

For high-power motor control systems, the 100-C85DJ10 is an excellent contactor given its specifications. This contactor is capable of switching a high inductive load with a maximum rating of 85 amperes. The coil voltage of this contactor is 120 volts AC at 60-hertz frequency. This contactor is highly recommended as it supports a power rating of 15 horsepower at 115 volts single-phase AC or 25 Hp at 230 volts single-phase AC. The contactors on this device are front-mounted and there are a total of 3 poles with one normally open auxiliary contact that will get activated once enough current passes through the coil and closes the auxiliary contact. The TE473 is the compatible coil with this type of contactor. Using the 100-C85DJ10 in a high-temperature region is not recommended as the maximum temperature this contactor can operate in is 40 degrees Celsius. This contactor has IP2X protection for protecting the user from accidentally touching the hazardous parts of the contactor. 

The manufacturer recommends mounting this contactor on a 35-millimeter DIN rail in a closed panel box to avoid moisture, dust, or any other environmental factor from affecting its performance. The device has an open-type enclosure. Therefore, it does not offer protection against dust and moisture. The contactors in the Bulletin 100-C series all support the same type of optional accessories. These accessories include mechanical latches, mechanical interlocks, pneumatic or electronic timers, surge suppressors, and side or front-mounted auxiliary contacts. These contactors are made using environmentally friendly materials to promote a sustainable and green environment.
