The Allen Bradley 1492-CABLE025X is a Bulletin 1492 digital interface cable. The cable has a standard length of 2.5 meters, or the equivalent of 8.2 feet. The cable has 20 conductors and supports a conductor size of 22 AWG. The cable is pre-wired. It was designed to be compatible with 8-point isolated I/O modules, as well as 16-point digital I/O modules, from the Bulletin 1756 series of products. The digital cable is designed with a 1756-TBNH removable terminal block on one end and an IFM 20-pin connector on the other end. The Allen Bradley 1492-CABLE025X cable has an outer diameter that measures approximately 9 millimeters, or 0.36 inches. The cable’s insulation rating is specified as 300 volts at 80 degrees Celsius.
