An Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation product, the 1492-RIFM20F-F120-2 is a device that is part of the 1492 Wiring Systems Modules. This module is essentially a Digital module with a field removable terminal block or, in short, Digital interface modules. Some main features specific to this module consists of having 20 pins that act as terminals that are fusible. One hundred and twenty (120) volts alternating current (AC) is the rated power supply of the fuses attached. There is an Isolated Extra terminal provided which acts as outputs, and these also have Blown fuse indicators included. The Digital interface modules also have two field-side terminals per Input/Output (I/O) connection.

The 1492 Wiring systems modules are fusible modules whose function is to provide the ability to add overcurrent protections into a programmable controller wiring. There are 5 rows in the module and each row consists of 20 fuse holders, which are essential parts of the modules, and blown fuse indicators may or may not be provided with the module depending on the model of the module used. There are options of 24-volt, 120-volt, and 240-volt blown fuse indicators. These fuse holders reduce the time to troubleshoot, find, and change a blown fuse on the Digital interface modules. A transparent and easy-to-remove plexiglass cover is provided with the Digital interface modules, and this prevents anything from creating contact with the circuitry of the fuse under standard operation. Fuse pullers allow the removal of fuses from the standard fuse holder. The fusible modules also include two or four terminals per Input/Output point so as to allow power bus creation for both inputs as well as output load connections. Fusible modules are available in two types: non-isolated and isolated.
