The 1492-SP1C020 supplementary protector is a miniature circuit breaker that has one (1) pole. The maximum voltage supplied to the device is 48 volts direct current (DC).  The tripping characteristic of this miniature circuit breaker is Trip Curve C curve is 5 to 10 /n. The dielectric strength of this device is rated at 1960 volts AC (alternating current). This device has a rated current flow of 2.0 amperes. 

The Allen Bradley 1492-SP1C020 has an operational temperature that should remain within a range of -5 to +40 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent range of 23 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, with a non-condensing relative humidity. This Allen Bradley device can withstand a shock rated up to 25 G half sine wave for a duration of 11 milliseconds. Additionally, this device has a vibration rating of 10 to 2000 hertz with a maximum amplitude of 0.030 inches and a maximum acceleration of 5 G. The electromechanical life cycle for this device is at least six thousand (6000) operations.

The device enclosure offers great protection against being electrocuted, especially as a result of touch since it has a rating of IP20. It is also normally mounted on a DIN rail with the cable wire being used of size 18 to 4 America Wire Gauge (AWG), or the equivalent of 1.0 to 25 mm². The recommended wire strip length of this miniature circuit breaker is 0.51 inches. The housing of this device is made up of nylon. This device is listed by the Underwriter laboratory.
