The 1606-XL60D power supply has a standard output power of 60 watts. It is a one phase with an output voltage rating 24 volts DC and output current of 2.5 amperes. This Allen-Bradley device has a voltage range of 120 to 240 volts AC, or 160 to 375 volts DC, with a current input rating of 40 amperes and a frequency of 50/60 hertz. The device is mounted on a DIN rail with its dimension including the rail estimated to be 49 millimeters by 124 millimeters by 102 millimeters and the weight being 460 grams. The front panel has a green light emitting diode (LED) indicator that goes out at a voltage less than 18 volts. The device is able to bear high overload current since it is specially designed. Therefore, there should be no hiccups encountered nor disconnections and the volt gradually decreases with increase in current. Transfer of electromagnetic noise between the power supply and the devices connected is greatly reduced as the device has robust EMC filter. The electromagnetic noise are reduced to values below ENS0081-1 even when the output cables used are long and unscreened.

To protect the power supply device’s primary supply, it is recommended that the 10 ampere slow acting fuse or the supplementary protector 1492-SPU1C100 be used. The electrolyte is specified for 105 degrees Celsius and has a very long lifecycle. For optimal operations, the device should be subjected to operating temperatures between -10 to 70 degrees Celsius and for safe-keeping, it should be stored at temperatures between -25 – 85 degrees Celsius.
