This device was designed as part of the VersaView series of Allen-Bradley products. The 6186-M15SS monitor has a fifteen (15)-inch wide color active-matrix thin film transistor (TFT) display. It accepts power inputs of up to twenty-four (24) volts DC. The bezel of the 6186-M15SS monitor is made of stainless steel materials.

The 6186-M15SS, which was manufactured by Allen-Bradley and belongs to the VersaView 1500M Heavy Industrial Monitor series, is a durable monitor that has LCD flat panel technology and offers bright, crisp visuals in an industrial setting. The monitor's 15-inch active-matrix LCD screen with toughened glass and a 1024 x 768 resolution in 256K colors enable maintenance, control, and visualization. The monitor has a display size of 305mm x 229mm, a brightness of 350 cd/m2 (Nits), and a screen contrast ratio of 400:1. It features a CCT backlight with a 30,000-hour standby period at half-display brightness and a stainless-steel bezel around the corners. The 6186-M15SS accepts both analog and digital video input signals and interfaces through HD-15 or DVI interfaces, including 5-BNC connectors via a cable adaptor.

Additionally, the 6186-M15SS has controls for luminance, horizontal/vertical position, color, contrast adjustment, sync detection, power on/off, video data, and image lock OSD control. It operates on AC power with an input voltage range of 90 to 264 volts AC at a frequency of 47-63 Hz and maximum power consumption of 24 watts. The monitor will operate without de-rating within a 32-122 °F working range of temperature and at a non-condensing relative moisture level of 10 to 90 percent. The 6186-M15SS may be kept at a maximum temperature of 140 ℉. It is designed to operate ideally at a shocking rate of 20G and can endure a 2G vibration at frequencies ranging from 10 to 640 Hz. It has a NEMA Type 12, 4, 4X, and IP66 enclosure and is certified by UL, c-UL, CE, and C-TICK. It weighs around 9 kg and is approximately 309 mm x 410 mm x 58 mm in size. The 6186-M15SS may be mounted in a variety of ways, including wall, panel, rack, bench, or tabletop, and VESA Mount Compatible.
