Part number MPC-B580J-M-X146 is a MP-Series rotary servo motor with a voltage rating of 460 volts AC. This servo motor from the MP-series of Allen-Bradley products is specifically an MPC servo motor. These types of servo motors are high-output brushless motors that use novel design attributes to decrease motor size while producing much-increased torque. Designed to satisfy the rigorous needs of excellent performance motion systems, these devices are small and light in weight.

The continuous stall torque ranges from 0.26 to 163 Nm (2.3 to 1440 lb-in.) to a maximum torque of 0.77 to 278 Nm (6.8 to 2460 lb-in.) for this rotary servo motor. It also has an Integral 24-volt brake function as an option. In this servo motor, It is possible to have absolute multi-turn, as well as single-turn, higher resolution, as well as an incremental encoder and resolver feedback, in addition to other features. Its low-profile, field-reversible motor couplings reduce the effect of servos on mechanical systems as much as possible, making it a sturdy and versatile solution suitable for a diverse variety of applications. DIN connections are present in a range of different combinations, allowing for multiple connector orientations.

Servos with low inertia from the MP series are very powerful brushless type motors that use novel design attributes to minimize motor size while producing much greater torque.
