The 150-F85NBD is a solid-state SMC-Flex Controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the SMC-Flex product line. This controller is intended for use with the computerized control in starting or stopping line-connected motors. It operates on a power rating of 85 amperes, an HP rating of 60 Horsepower, a voltage of 460 volts AC. The controller features an open enclosure rating with a three-phase input line voltage of 200 – 460 volts AC, frequency 50 - 60 hertz, and 100 – 200 volts AC or 5 – 480 units control voltage. The controller functions in different modes, including full voltage, dual ramp start, soft start and stop, selectable kick start, slow speed mode, and current limit start. It also features Smart Motor Braking (SMB) with every phase fixed with CT, an inbuilt Run/SCR bypass, four programmable auxiliary contacts, and Accu-stop mode. Allen-Bradley 150-F85NBD drive can be programmed via its 5-button keypad placed on the front side of the controller.
