Part number 2098-DSD-HV030X-DN which was manufactured by the company known as Allen-Bradley, is a part of Ultra3000 series of Allen-Bradley servo drives. This product is designed to drive brushless servo motors in closed loop configuration. It uses the AC input voltage of 460 volts AC, 3 phase. This Allen-Bradley product has an output power of four (4) horsepower continuous and an output current of seven (7) amperes continuous. The maximum inrush current is sixty-eight 68 amps (0-peak). In order to cover the applications that needs point to point movements, the 2098-DSD-020X-DN features its indexing capability. The drive is indexed with 64 (sixty-four) possible profiles and 4 (four) modes of operation, as well as all of their parameters. Therefore, there is no need for PLC motion control interface because the drive is connected to DeviceNet network and the drive commands are received by DeviceNet interface. The drive itself has its own seven segment LED for status and error codes and other LED’s, such as normal, standby, fault, etc. can be monitored locally, but the advantage of remote control save the time and decrease the price for maintenance and required manpower. The temperature operating range is thirty-two to one hundred and thirty-one (32 to 131) degrees Fahrenheit and surrounding air temperature must not exceed one hundred and forty-nine (149) degrees Fahrenheit. The unit storage temperature rate is -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and the relative humidity must remain within the range of 5% to 95%.
