Part number 2098-IPD-030 is an intelligent positioning drive. Designed and produced by Allen-Bradley, this drive belongs to the Ultra5000 series product line. The 2098-IPD-030 requires an AC (alternating current) input to operate. The required voltage for this Allen-Bradley product to operate is 100 to 240 V rms with a single phase. The frequency of the input needs to be forty-seven (47) to sixty-three (63) hertz. Additionally, the current of the main AC input should be nominal twenty-eight (28) amperes rms and a max inrush at 230 volts AC input of fifty (50) amperes rms. The current of the auxiliary alternating current input is one (1.0) amperes rms nominal at 115 V alternating current input, 0.5 amperes rms nominal at 230 V alternating current input, forty-seven (47) amperes zero-peak at a max inrush of 115 V alternating current input, and ninety-five (95) amperes zero-peak at a max inrush of 230 V alternating current input. 

The 2098-IPD-030 has a continuous output current and an intermittent output current of fifteen (15) amperes and thirty (30) amperes, respectively, with both at zero-peak. The internal shunt of this product is fifty (50) watts when it is powered continuously and 4.5 kilowatts when it is at peak power. The external shunt has a thirty (30) ohm minimum resistance, as well as a continuous power of 2.4 kilowatts and a peak power of 6 kilowatts.
