The Allen-Bradley 1769-ECR end cap terminates the end of a communication bus. It is rated for 20 g of operating shock when mounted on a DIN rail and 30 g when mounted on a panel. The 1769-ECR end cap is rated for 30 g of nonoperating shock on a DIN rail and 40 g on a panel. This is the 1769-ECR by Allen-Bradley. It is a terminator or right end cap for use with the 1769 controller series. This unit serves to terminate the end of the communication bus of the controller. It is limited to a bus current draw of 5 milliamperes at 5 volts DC. The 1769-ECR has an operating altitude of 6562 feet and when used in zone 2 environments it is required to be installed with IP54 protection in order to provide protection from sunlight and other ultraviolet light sources.

The unit is rated to operate within 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 140 degrees Fahrenheit and has been tested for thermal shock, dry heat, and cold environments. The 1769-ECR has non-operating temperature limits of -40 degrees Fahrenheit and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit has been tested unpackaged in cold, dry heat, and in thermal shock conditions. The operating range for non-condensing relative humidity for this unit is 5 percent to 95 percent.

The 1769-ECR is rated for an operational vibration limit of up to 5 G at 10 hertz to 500 hertz. When mounted on a DIN-rail mount, this unit is rated for withstanding an operating shock of up to 20 G. When panel mounted, the operating shock limit is 30 G. The non-operating shock limit on a DIN-rail mounting is 30 G. When panel mounted, the non-operating shock limit is 40 G. It is rated to sustain operating shocks of up to 20 G on DIN-rail mounting and up to 30 G with panel mounting.
