The Allen-Bradley 1769-OV16 compact DC solid-state module contains 16 outputs. The 1769-OV16 operates between 20.4 volts and 26.4 volts DC. This module can be employed by controllers such as the CompactLogix controller or the MicroLogix 1500 controller. The 1769-OV16 module can be employed in several applications mainly in the industrial field. For example, the 1769-OV16 module can be assembled with a 1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter or with a 1769-AENTR Ethernet adapter. The 1769-OV16 module offers the flexibility during the installation and mounting steps with two mounting M4 or #8 panhead screws for well-grounded panel mounting or on either EN 50 022 - 35 x 7.5 or EN 50 022 - 35 x 15 DIN rails. The on-state current for this module is 1 milliamp and the output delay is 1 millisecond. This Allen-Bradley 1769-OV16 DC solid-state output module can be supplied through 1769 Compact I/O power supplies such as PA2, PB2, PA4, PB4 1769 power supplies except when connected to a MicroLogix 1500 base with a current consumption of 200 milliamps. The Allen-Bradley 1769-OV16 module can be connected easily to either the controller or to an I/O module after or before mounting. The surge current that the module can handle is 2 amps. The 1769-OV16 16-point module is intended for use in a mainly industrial environment that is clean and dry. This module weighs approximately 280 grams (0.61 pounds) while shipping.
