The Allen Bradley 1797-BCNR, which is a barrier module, comes with features for status update in real-time. These status indicators help with solving problems and eliminating errors. The real-time problem diagnostic feature helps identify and solve problems in the shortest time possible. This barrier module belongs to the Bulletin 1797 series of products. Due to its design, this barrier module should be placed near the industrial component that it is controlling. This barrier module features an onboard ControlNet communication port. When it comes to data transfer speed, this module can exchange data at a maximum speed of five (5) Megabits per second (Mbps). 

The Allen Bradley 1797-BCNR barrier module has a transmission attenuation rating of -7.84 decibels (dB). Due to its flexible configuration options, this controller can be setup for different industrial applications. Thanks to the protective features, this barrier module can be operated even when it is under power. This particular feature makes this barrier module ideal for use in industrial settings where shutting off the base module is not safe. This module also comes with galvanic isolation. Due to this feature, users do not need to use I isolators or S barriers. This barrier module should be operated within an area whose temperature ranges from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. When storing this device, the temperature of the storage area should range from -20 to 100 degrees Celsius. This Allen Bradley device has a relative humidity rating of 5 percent to 95 percent. Additionally, the relative humidity should be non-condensing. The approximate weight of this Allen Bradley barrier module is 200 grams.
