This reversing motor starter utilizes a eutectic alloy to help reverse voltages completely. It is an open-type product without an enclosure, and it has a NEMA rating of three (3). It requires a three-pole, three-phase power supply with current flows of 90 amperes, a voltage rating of 600 volts, and power ratings of 30 horsepower at 230 volts, 50 horsepower at a voltage level of 380 volts to 415 volts, and 50 horsepower at 460 volts to 575 volts. This starting unit includes a 120 volts AC (alternating current) coil. Further, there is an alternating current magnetic contactor that has been built to be used with Bulletin 505 motor control systems. 

This starter may be used for squirrel cage motors that have three or more wires in them. This device has been approved by CSA, MARINE, UL, CUL, and KC, and has also been checked by these organizations or labs. This reversing motor starter has an operating temperature that should remain between the range of -13 to +149 degrees Fahrenheit, or the equivalent of -25 to +65 degrees Celsius. This device was designed to be operated at altitudes up to, but not exceeding, ten thousand (10,000) feet without derating. The physical dimensions of this Allen-Bradley reversing motor starter measure 30 inches x 20.5 inches x 10.19 inches (height x width x depth). The weight of this unit during the shipping process weighs approximately 90 kilograms.
