The 592-DOV16 is a type of manual test module. It is a standard component for overload relays from the Bulletin 592 line of products. It must be paired with one (1) normally open (NO) or one (1) normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact during installation. When you install an additional contact module, it physically replaces the contact test module. For proper functioning, this manual test module requires a heater element. This test module comes with starter mount option. It must be used with Bulletin 500 NEMA contactor modules. It must be paired with one (1) or three (3) heater elements.
For standard operation, the Allen Bradley 592-DOV16 must be supplied with a maximum current supply of 125 amperes or 165 amperes. It features several industry standard compliance certifications such as CSA22.2 and UL 508. It must be housed inside an open-type enclosure. There are a total of three (3) poles on this manual test module. There are multiple variations of this test module. All of these devices use Eutectic Alloy and come with a manual reset option. Each of them comes with a different full load current range, however.
The Allen Bradley 592-DOV16 does not come with terminal lugs. This device can operate at a maximum continuous current rating of 125 volts.
