This is a field attachable device belonging to series 889N devices with an assembly rating of 600 volts and 10 amperes. Designed and manufactured as a mini style 16 AWG from ST00W PVC with an 11-millimeter cable diameter, this cordset is fitted with an epoxy-coated zinc coupling nut and is housed in molded oil resistant TPE. Its contact material is gold-plated palladium/nickel.

Part number 889N-F4AFC-12F is a 16 AWG stranded straight copper cable cordset that was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation for connecting field devices together. Designed using the oil-resistant yellow ST00W-A PVC jacket, it is a 600 volts capacity cable capable of carrying loads of 13 amperes. Certified by the CSA and UL recognized, this cable has diameter of 11 millimeters, as well as a bend radius that is 10 times the diameter. Additionally, The enclosure type rating of this cable consists of a NEMA rating of NEMA 4, 6P, 12, and 13, an IP rating o IP67, a 1200 psi washdown, and IP69K.This cable has a temperature rating of -20 to +105 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent of -4 to +221 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Allen Bradley’s 889N-F4AFC-12F sports a 3.7 meter (12 feet) long 4-pin cable that was designed with United States’ Industry Standard color code A. Its color code A female pin out has pin1 colored black, pin 2 colored white, pin 3 colored red, and pin 4 colored green. This straight type cordset can be ordered in with the stainless-steel connector version by adding S to the 889N catalog number. This device’s female head measures 61.8 millimeters x 27 millimeters (2.43 inches x 1.06 inches) in addition to the length stated earlier. This cable has mini/mini plus female end termination while the male end is cable terminated with flying leads without a connector. It comes as unshielded straight type cable for a number of industrial connections and networking applications.
