The 1203-SFC is an industrial serial cable made by Allen-Bradley. This unit is 2 meters (6.5 feet) in length and features a locking low profile connecter that is used to connect to a serial converter such as the Allen-Bradley 22-SCM-232. The cable is connected to the converter via an RS-232 Serial Port. Connection to a computer is made with a 9-pin sub mini D-type female connector.

The 1203-SFC is a serial cable made by Allen-Bradley. This unit is an industrial serial cable that is 2 meters (6.5 feet) in length. The unit features a locking low profile connecter that is used to connect to a serial converter such as the Allen-Bradley 22-SCM-232. This cable is also included with the 1203-SSS serial converter. The cable is connected to the converter via an RS-232 Serial Port with a locking low-profile connector. The serial cable also offers a 9-pin sub mini D-type female connector. This is used to connect to a personal computer. The 1203-SFC cable may also be used to make a serial connection to a 1203-GU6 DeviceNet module or a 1203-CN1 ControlNet module. Care needs to be taken when the connection to the serial converter via the cable is broken. If the serial convertor is transmitting control I/O to the product, failure may occur in the product as a result of the disconnection. The cable performance can be gauged using the parameters given out by the serial converter module. The [NAK Bad Packet] [NAKs Received] [ENQs Received] [ENQs Sent] [Undelivered Msgs] [Duplicate Msgs] and [NAK No Memory] parameters are read-only and should normally have low or zero output values during normal operation. The default and minimum values for these parameters are zero. The maximum value for these parameters is 65535. If these parameters show a continuous increment, or if communication problems are evident, the possible solutions are to either use a lower baud rate or to use a replacement 1203-SFC serial cable.

Because of the high volume of outgoing and incoming shipments on a day to day basis, we unfortunately cannot accept returns on items ordered mistakenly or part numbers ordered incorrectly.
