The Allen Bradley 1336F-MCB-SP1F hosts the RIO boards, and the control interface boards. The main control board inside it is responsible for coordinating all the tasks carried out by this control board. As it comes with several ports for connectivity, it can be connected to many other peripheral devices. The Allen Bradley 1336F-MCB-SP1F can be connected to an Allen Bradley human interface machine, or any other HIM via the Port 1. This port can be found on the main board of the module. When looking at the face of the control board, users will notice that there is a nameplate printed on it. The main purpose of this device is to be used as the main control board for the various frame drives of the 1336 Plus II series. There are two (2) main components of this Control Board – several RIO Boards, and one (1) interface control board. When it comes to connectivity, this device can be connected to a control interface board using jumper connectors labeled as J2 and J4. There is another such port on the bottom part of the board titled TB2, or Terminal Block 2. Both the ports come with twenty-two (22) different positions, and a 0.3 millimeter squared (mm²) wire size. These wire sizes are also commonly referred to as the 12 and 22 AWG. Installing the Allen Bradley 1336F-MCB-SP1F is also very easy. In regards to mounting this device, the 1336F-MCB-SP1F should be mounted via a mounting plate. Additionally, it is imperative to tighten the screws holding the board into place, in which there are eleven of them.
