The 1336S-A010-AA-EN, by the company known as Allen Bradley, is a variable frequency AC drive that supports a sensorless vector algorithm which is designed specifically for motor control applications. This drive is from the 1336S family and is powered by an AC (alternating current) input of 200 to 240 volts. This drive has an input protection system to ensure safety. If the voltage is below the required threshold of one hundred and thirty-eight (138) volts AC, or if an unexpected surge occurs and the voltage exceeds two hundred and eighty-five (285) volts, the system shuts down immediately so that any damage to the system and surrounding can be avoided. Similarly for bus voltage levels, the device shuts off if the threshold range is crossed. This device works on both single phase and three phase inputs. Three phase input is preferred over single phase input for many applications to avoid derating the output. For three phase inputs, the output power is 7.5 kW (kilowatts) or 10 Hp (horsepower). The drive supports sine-coded PWM and its carrier frequency can be varied between 2 to 10 kilohertz. This device has an IP 20 NEMA type 1 enclosure with dimensions measuring 13.7 x 10.24 x 8.35 inches. It is to be mounted vertically and adequate space should be left on all sides for proper ventilation so that proper temperature can be maintained and accurate output can be achieved. A temperature range of 32 to 104 degress Fahrenheit is to be maintained in the surrounding area of the device.
