The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10G9 operator panel is a state-of-the-art user-controlled terminal that can be used to monitor and control the status and functioning of industrial control systems. The device is equipped with a robust grayscale display screen that provides information regarding the transient state of the system to the user in real-time. The system’s parameters can be closely monitored by the user through the display screen. The terminal is also equipped with a keypad that allows the user to assimilate feedback and feed inputs into the system to address specific objectives. The keypad is equipped with function keys that can be used to trigger and initiate functions of components of the machine control system. In the PanelView 1000 terminal series, the F1 key can be used to select rack numbers during configuration and select an address. The F2 key determines the size of the rack. The 2711-K10G9 panel’s keypad is designed to facilitate the user to enter a variety of input types into the system. The keypad supports ASCII characters, statistics, and variables, and data can be stored in the variables created by the system with the help of the in-built application flash memory of the terminal.
