While the backplane output current limit for this unit is 0.8 Amperes, the limit can be increased using the backplane extension power supply model 1738-EP24DC. The adapter’s input voltage is rated at 24 Volts nominal and the voltage range is between 10 Volts and 28.8 Volts. The inrush current limit for this unit is 6 Amperes for up to 10 milliseconds. The 1738-AENTR features reverse polarity input overvoltage protection. The power consumption for this adapter module is rated at 10.4 Watts at 28.8 Volts.
