This output module has a total of four (4) differential, individually isolated channels. This module may be placed in any slot on a 1746 I/O chassis module, except for slot 0. The rated backplane current consumption of the Spectrum Controls 1746SC-INO4VI is 120 milliamperes at 5 volts direct current (DC) or 250 milliamperes at 24 volts direct current (DC). Additionally, the typical backplane power consumption of this output module is 0.6 watts. The opto-electrical isolation rating of this device is 750 volts DC for channel-to-channel and 750 volts DC for the field wiring-to-backplane. The thermal dissipation rating of the Spectrum Controls 1746SC-INO4VI is 4.5 watts maximum. The output current ranges of this device include 4 to 20 milliamperes, 0 to 20 milliamperes, or 0 to 21 milliamperes.
