The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF8I ControlLogix high-resolution voltage/current isolated analog input module has 8 differential or single-ended inputs, each supporting an input voltage rating of ±10 volts DC and an input current rating of 20 milliamperes. The 1756-IF8I has a resolution of 24 bits. This module offers high performance for output response times for floating-point values by providing an input sampling time of 1 milisecond. The 1756-IF8I module can be employed in several applications mainly in the industrial field. The 1756-IF8I module can be supplied from the ControlLogix chassis with a current consumption of 400 milliamps. The 1756-IF8I module can be mounted easily on a 1756 ControlLogix chassis under power without either stopping the production or field calibration. This module offers the removable terminal block (RTB) to prevent the wrong wiring. The 1756-IF8I input module dissipates an electrical power of 4.6 watts. The 1756-IF8I module has channel status indicators and a fault status indicator which can help and simplify the maintenance and troubleshooting process.



This Allen-Bradley 1756-IF8I voltage/current analogue input module supports shielded or twisted-pair Belden 8761 wire or equivalent wires. This Allen-Bradley 1756-IF8I employs a notch and a digital programmable filter which provide noise rejection for the input signals. The 1756-IF8I analog input module offers a synchronized input sampling feature for real-time control on an EtherNet/IP communication network to increase data visibility. The normal impedance of the 1756-IF8I module is 1 giga-ohm for the voltage input and 125 ohms for the current input.
