The 1756-TBS6H from Allen-Bradley is a replaceable terminal block for the 1756 I/O sequence unit that is meant to be readily changed. This is an I/O component accessory that should be bought separately. It allows for more flexibility in the interconnection of 1756 I/O modules as well as the wiring of industrial plants. It can be quickly and simply connected to the front area of the I/O module. The 1756-TBS6H detachable terminal block is a spring-clamp type terminal block with a standard housing that has 36 pins. In terms of size and weight, it measures 5.51 inches x 4.41 inches x 5.71 inches and weighs 0.3 lbs. This uses copper cable rated at 22 to 14 AWG for wiring this terminal block. The wire should be rated at 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit) and have an optimal diameter of insulation of 1.2 mm (3/64 in.). It is not permissible to utilize more than one conductor on a single terminal. All of the field-side wiring for each ControlLogix I/O module must be connected using an RTB, which may be mounted in any of the ControlLogix chassis. A wide range of applications for each I/O module may be found, ranging from high-speed digital processing to process control. The producer-consumer technology used in ControlLogix architecture allows input and output states to be shared across several controllers in the same or other chassis at the same time. In a completely dry and clean industrial setting, this 1756-TBS6H RTB device can work with an ambient temperature of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. This module has a shock load rating of 30 g.
