The Allen-Bradley 1762-OW16 MicroLogix AC/DC relay output module provides 16 normally open outputs. The 1762-OW16 supports voltage rating ranges from 5 volts AC to 265 volts AC and from 5 volts DC to 125 volts DC. This module can be employed by the MicroLogix 1200 controller. The 1762-OW16 module can be used in several applications mainly in the industrial field. The 1762-OW16 module offers the flexibility during the installation and mounting steps with two mounting M4 or #8 screws panel mounting which should be well-grounded or on EN 50 022 - 35 x 7.5 millimetres or EN 50 022 - 35 x 15 millimetres DIN rails. The minimum on-state current for this module is 10 milliamps and the output delay is 10 milliseconds.

This Allen-Bradley 1762-OW16 MicroLogix AC/DC relay contact output module consumes a current consumption of 140 milliamps. The 1762-OW16 Allen-Bradley module can be connected easily to either the controller or to an adjacent I/O module before or after mounting. The 1762-OW16 module dissipates an electrical power of 5.6 watts. The 1762-OW16 is a MicroLogix output extension module. This module enhances the output power of the MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1400 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). It can be used to turn on and off electrical loads. This module has sixteen (16) relay connections that can operate at voltages from 24 to 125 volts DC or 120 to 240 volts AC. With the CLOSED switch, each outgoing channel has a signal delay time of 10 milliseconds. Each module is capable of delivering up to 2.5 amperes of continuous current per point, 8 amperes of continuous current per common, and 16 amperes of continuous current per module. The 1762-OW16 has two (2) output groups, each containing eight (8) channels. Surge suppressors should be included in the inductive load. Surgical protectors can provide protection against high-intensity inductive loads, thus contributing to the life of the module. This device has physical dimensions that measure 90 mm x 40.4 mm x 87 mm, or 3.54 inches x 1.59 inches x 3.43 inches. The approximate weight of this device is 285 grams, or 0.63 pounds.
