The 1762sc-IF8U is an input module that belongs to the MicroLogix series. It has 8 input channels of voltage, current, thermocouple and 4 RTD/ resistance input. For applications requiring mixed analog input, any combination of input can be provided for a very flexible solution. To configure this module ladder register setting are used. The option of selective filtering is also available on this module that helps achieve accurate results along with maximum speed with minimum noise. For thermocouples, cold junction compensation is also used. This module has the advantage of lower power consumption which makes it ideal for use. For each channel, different features are individually programmable and accurate results are achieved. The module is used in dry and clean industrial environments.

The input current of this product is zero to twenty (0 to 20) milliamperes and it has a voltage range of zero to five (0 to 5) volts. When the mounting tabs are included, the dimensions of this device measure 110 mm by 87 mm by 40 mm. The operating temperature range surrounding this device should remain within the range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius.
