Part number MVI56E-LDM is a module in which users can create and deploy C++/C applications. These custom algorithm applications can be used for ControlLogix systems. Drivers for specialized Ethernet and serial end-devices can also be created by users. The Linux development module has a built-in API for communicating with the CPU via the backplane. This device has a 400-megahertz ARM9 G20 processor. The backplane current load of this module is 3 mA at 24 volts DC and 800 mA at 5 volts DC.
This unit does not ship with terminal blocks. Terminal blocks may be present in photographs for illustrative purposes.

Using the MVI56E-LDM module, users can create and deploy C++/C custom algorithm applications for ControlLogix systems. For custom algorithm applications, this module is ideal. It has two (2) independent serial ports and two (2) Ethernet ports. It is based on a fan-less design. It also comes with a development environment and LVM (Linux virtual machine). Both of these systems are provided on the Prosoft website. Users can download it for free. The virtual Machine contains the famous IDE i.e., Eclipse, and comes with pre-installed libraries and many advanced toolchains.
The module also provides 256 MB NAND flash memory and 64 MB System Memory (SD-RAM). It also supports compact flash memory of up to 16 GB. The module has a 400-megahertz ARM9 G20 processor with a Linux operating system which is distributed by Timesys. The module comes with a backplane current load of 3 milliamperes at 24 volts direct current (DC) and 800 milliamperes at 5 volts direct current. The LED indicator indicates three (3) applications, which include ERR, APP and OK, and it also has a scrolling, 4-character, alphanumeric LED display.
The module has 2 different Ethernet ports. One of these Ethernet ports supports data transfer at 10 megabytes per second, and the other one supports data transfer at the rate of 100 megabytes per second. Furthermore, there is one (1) RJ45 connector link and one (1) LED indicator. The operating temperature of the module is 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. On the other hand, the storage temperature should be between -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The relative humidity range on this module is 5% to 95%.
