The GE Fanuc Emerson IC670ALG620 is an RTD input module that has four channels. These inputs permit the direct connection between the PLC and RTD temperature sensors with 3-wire and 4-wire. The IC670ALG620 offers two resistance ranges. These ranges are from 0 to 500 ohms and from 0 to 3 kiloohms. The device includes a single LED indicator on the faceplate to show the power presence, module, and diagnostics status. This module supports nickel/iron, platinum, copper, and nickel RTDs. This module offers a temperature resolution of ±0.3 to 0.5 degrees Celsius. The IC670ALG620 can detect the issue due to the open and short circuits, high/low alarm, overrange, and under range. This unit supports the integrating A/D conversion type with a scan rate of fifty or sixty channels per second and a resolution of 15 bits including the sign bit.

The IC670ALG620 offers a sensitivity of ± 1.5 microvolts per degree Celsius. This module draws a current of 190 milliamperes from the BIU power supply. The input module supports a relative humidity range from 5 percent to 95 percent without condensing and a vibration frequency range from 10 hertz to 500 hertz.
