The GE Fanuc IC660EBD021 is an I/O terminal block. It is an electronic assembly and a total of 16 different circuit I/O block. Belonging to the Genius I/O series, these blocks are smart and programmable allowing them to connect to a wide array of discrete direct current actuators and sensors. The 24 volts direct current source option and the 24 to 48 volts direct current source block option are the two variations of the direct current 16-circuit blocks that are categorized by the type of power supply and the recommended usage.

The 24 to 48 volts and the 24 volts direct current sink block versions of the 16-circuit sink blocks are also available. The sink and source blocks are both meant to deliver power to the output units. Over-temperature, failed-switch diagnostics, and open-wire are included in the Genius IC660EBD021 unit. It also has a configurable input filter with a length of 5 to 100 milliseconds. The IC660EBD021 terminal block requirements for this unit features a maximum ripple rating of 10%, a power supply sustenance duration of 10 milliseconds, and a block-to-block voltage of 1500 volts.

The 16 different discrete circuits of the IC660EBD021 DC 16-channel source and sink I/O block can be set as inputs, tri-state inputs, and outputs. These output circuits also make it possible to connect directly to the input circuits without the use of additional modules or logic state inversions. The GE Fanuc IC660EBD021 block collects control power from I/O devices attached to different terminals. These blocks do not require any additional or separate power sources.
