The GE Fanuc IC754CBL06CTD is a portable & flexible device that comes with multiple communication options and a 7-inch widescreen TFT color touch screen. Thanks to its advanced ARM 1 Hz Cortex A8 microprocessor, users will experience no lag in processing. As far as memory is concerned, the ARM 1 Hz Cortex A8 microprocessor comes with 512 megabytes of RAM (DDR2 SDRAM), 512 kilobytes of SRAM memory, and 256 megabytes of ROM memory. The SRAM memory comes with battery backup. When it comes to the user interface, the GE IC754CBL06CTD comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Embedded Compact (32-bit) system built into it. As the system comes pre-installed, there is no need for manual configuration. As soon as the user resets the QuickPanel+ or starts this human-machine interface, the built-in OS will automatically start running. Users can also manually program this device by connecting the QuickPanel+ with the Proficy View Machine Edition software. It is recommended that users use the RS-232/RS485 communication port for this purpose. For connecting, this device to a workstation, users should use the HMI-CAB communication cable. Users can update their Machine Edition Application by copying the installation file into a flash drive, preferably an SD card, and rebooting the system directly from there. For ease of use, the GE IC754CBL06CTD comes with an advanced control panel and an easy-to-use operator interface. It hosts three different color LED status lights. When the status light is amber, it indicates that the OS is initiating. When the status light is green, it means the OS is operating at its normal state. Users will see a blinking green light when the backlight is turned off. If the backlight fails, the status light will display a red blinking light. If for any reason the operation panel shuts down or stops working, the indication light will also go off.
