The ST-2524 module is an RSTi PacSystem expansion module designed and distributed by Emerson - GE Fanuc. This expansion module is engineered to provide positive logic and diagnostic input current range of up to 2 amperes. This device features four (4) discrete positive logic outputs that function on a 12 to 24 volts DC power supply. It supports 35 mm DIN rail mounting and weighs approximately 70 grams. It has four (4) green output indicators that display output status in two colors, which are red and green. The peak power consumption of this expansion module is 45 mA at 5.0 Volts DC. Aside from that, it can use removable terminal blocks (cage clamps) while the output specifications include positive transistor logic. The on-state voltage drop rating of this unit is 1.0 Volt DC at 25 °C. Besides that, its output voltage range is 25 Volts DC (11 to 28.8 Volts), the module's on state minimum current rating is 1mA, while its off state leakage current rating is 150 micro-amperes. Its output delay ranges include 0.3 milliseconds for off to on, as well as from on to off. Additionally, its output current rating includes 2.0 amperes, with 8.0 amperes per common. This product is released with output short circuit protection. This device should be stored in an area where the temperature ranges from -40°C to + 85°C. Additionally, it should be operated in an area where the temperature ranges from -20°C to + 55°C.
