The ST-3218 is an RSTi PacSystem analog input module. This module was designed and manufactured by Emerson - GE Fanuc. This device consists of eight (8) channels. It has a current input that is indicated to range from 4 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes. The GE Fanuc ST-3218 is classified as a current analog input module. It has a 12-bit resolution and is equipped with a terminal block connector. This device has no common terminal within the module and, therefore, a field power rated at 0 volts is common. 

The ST-3218 analog input module has an accuracy rated at plus or minus (+/-) 0.1 percent full scale at 25 degrees Celsius (°C), as well as plus or minus (+/-) 0.3 percent full scale at 0 degrees Celsius (°C) and 60 degrees Celsius (°C). This analog input module has an input impedance rated at 120 ohms. The update time of the GE Fanuc ST-3218 is 4 milliseconds for all of the channels. Additionally, the module current consumption of this device is 50 milliamperes at 5 volts direct current (DC). This analog input module uses photo coupler isolation.
