The 90-30 PLCs product IC693APU300 is a high-speed counter by GE Fanuc Automation. It contains 12 positive logic inputs and four positive logic outputs. It has an input voltage that ranges from 5V DC or 10 to 30VDC. In contrast, the output voltage range is 4.7 to 40 V DC. Besides, the output protection range is a 3amps fuse for all points. The isolation range on this module is 250VAC, and the power consumption range is 250 mA at 5 V DC. Moreover, the module can count up and down and can also sense the difference between values. This module is a single slot counter typically suitable for applications where pulse input rate surpasses the PLC capabilities. Besides, it is also suitable for PLCs that require additional processing power. The module effectively processes the single pulses, which reach frequency up to 80kHz. This processing speed is ideal for industrial applications such as turbine flowmeter, measuring velocity, or dealing with materials. In addition, the counter can not only handle both input and output, but also sense the input and output responses without interacting with the CPU. The module is also flexible to configure with any PLC 90-30 Series baseplate to any handheld CPU programmer. It can also use user programs for the configuration of user applications. The module does not support jumpers, but it features two green LEDs that help indicate the status of the operations and other configuration essentials. Users must not eject the module from the PLC before switching off the power for the module's safety.
