Part number 800T-FXD4 is a push button device, manufactured by Allen Bradley, as part of the 800T family of buttons. It is a 2-position button with a mushroom head with a diameter that measures 30 millimeters, operating via push-pull activity. It is a non-illuminated device, manufactured using metal materials in a type 4/13 enclosure. It does not possess finger safeguards or cap. The contact block is standard type and operates in the input range of 24 to 600 volts AC/DC. The device has a maximum 10 amperes thermal continuous current in AC applications and 2.5 amperes with DC. The contact's expected electrical life cycle is a minimum of one million (1,000,000) cycles when used at maximal rated load. The button requires a maximum of 8 pounds operating force for push or pull operation. It has a mechanical design lifecycle of minimum of two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) operations.

The device contact blocks operate under the "normally closed late break" contact principle. This principle concerns the contacts change state when the operator switches the button. Moving from the OUT to IN point, the operator's mechanical activity appears first to the contacts change state. At the reverse operation when button is switched from IN to OUT, the contacts change state before the mechanical movement is finished. This button device conforms to EN ISO 13850, IEC 60947-5-5 emergency stop standards. For the best performance, it is recommended during installation an additional jumbo plate or large legend plate to be used, if there are no place limitations for this.
